Hodag baseball has strong turnout for pitchers and catchers
Now that the WIAA had given baseball teams across the state a week prior to the official start of the season for pitcher instruction, everybody seems to be a pitcher or a catcher. That was certainly the case for the Rhinelander High School baseball team, which had a good chunk of its team present last week in preparation for the first official days of practice.

Team review: RHS boys' basketball
Coming off a 20-win season, and a surprising first-game exit in last year's WIAA tournament, the Hodags were hoping to continue their winning ways in the Great Northern Conference. Instead the team was plagued by inconsistent performance - particularly on defense - all season and struggled to a 10-14 overall mark.
