Reader: Trump-Russia connection is clear

To the editor:

The truth is hiding in plain view. Trump had a Machiavellian as well as a financial interest in ending U.S. sanctions on Russia. Putin had a deep economic motive in cultivating Trump. Sanctions on Russia and the Russian oligarchs were set by the U.S., the EU, Canada and Japan when Putin invaded and occupied the Crimea in 2014. They hit very hard at the primary source of wealth in the Russian economy, oil exports. They contributed to the collapse of the Russian ruble, and created an ongoing Russian national financial crisis. Candidate Trump praised Putin, excused Russian aggressive behavior. The Kremlin got the message and launched a cyber attack on Candidate Clinton who had vowed continued sanctions. Let's see: Clinton means sanctions, Trump means sanctions lifted. Lift sanctions and tens of billions of dollars of oil would flow, schemers on each side would get a massive payoff, nobody in the U.S. would be the wiser. That's the answer to "why" the Kremlin and the Trump Team colluded. The reason for the secret meetings which now are being exposed.

Care to comment on New York Mayor Bill DeBlasio's illegal 1994 honeymoon in Communist Cuba? How about the Socialists and Communists in the U.S. House of Representatives Progressive Caucus? Maybe a little something on Obama's relationship with the American Communist Bill Ayers? Or some wisdom on Obama scuttling the wet foot-dry foot policy toward Cuban refugees as kind of a "this is who I really am" farewell finger in the air?

Where there's smoke, there's fire. Hillary's got nothing to do with it. She is yesterday's news. To continually bring her up is just deflecting and excuse making.

Clinton? What does she, or any other politician have to do with it? Nada. Trump filed for Bankruptcy (taxpayers pay the bill) so many times (6 that we know of) that the US banking industry refused to loan the defaulting Trump any more money. So he turns to Communist Russia for a way out of his financial ineptitude. Talk about Pay to Play! We Pay. He Plays. Only this time, he's playing with the Communists. And we will be the ones paying for it. They don't allow Bankruptcies. The Campaign is over folks. This is serious stuff. Drop the rationalizing rhetoric and start listening with an open mind. Or it could quickly become your open wallet...

You want to talk about people getting paid off. What about Cliton and all the money she took for pay for play. After the election her foundation folds because she can not do favors for people and all the service men and women she put in harms way. There is your real crook.
