Margaret A. Feger

Margaret A. Feger, age 87, of Rhinelander, a former resident of Crandon, passed away Monday, Oct. 16, 2017 at Friendly Village. She was born on Friday, July 18, 1930, in Antigo, Wis., the daughter of Leslie and Fidelis (Schultz) Ehlers. Margaret grew up in the Antigo area and was a 1948 graduate of Antigo High School. She was united in marriage in 1950 in Antigo to Frederick W. Feger. The couple made their home in Jennings and lived there for 25 years. Margaret was employed by Weinbrenner Shoe Company in Antigo. She and Frederick owned and operated their own dairy farm where they had sixty head of milking cows. Later on, Margaret was employed as a CNA at Taylor Park Nursing Home, Friendly Village and later at AGI in Crandon. Margaret was a past member of a women's bowling league in Rhinelander. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, reading, snowmobiling, canning vegetables, playing cards, poker nights with Bob and Harriett and getting together with family and friends. Surviving are her children; Michael Feger and Dayna Piontek of Pearson, Kathy Feger and Joe of Deadwood, South Dakota, Eugene "Geno" (Peggy) Feger of Jennings and Lisa (Tim) Feger-Ritchie of Rhinelander, six grandchildren; Fred (Angie) Feger of Elcho, Carl (Kristy) Feger of Marinette, Wisconsin, Cody Ritchie, Nathan Ritchie, Patrick (fiancé, Jordan Turner) and Summer Ritchie, all of Rhinelander; three great-grandchildren; Hayleigh Grace Alsteen-Ritchie, Madelyn Feger and Michael Ritchie. Also surviving are one step-grandson; Nicholas Ritchie, two step-granddaughters; Crystal Sherman and Rose (Joe) Chaney and eight step-great-grandchildren; Colton, Colleen, Owen, Silas, Noah, Chase, Harli, Macee; and one brother-in-law; Neil Baldwin.
