Florence "Floie" Holewinski
Florence "Floie" Holewinski, age 84, a resident of Sugar Camp for most of her life, passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 at her home. Floie was born on Sept. 6, 1934, in Chicago, to Harold and Florence Boettcher. She was a retired postal carrier in Rhinelander. She was a member of S.E.R.V.E. in Eagle River.
Floie was preceded in death by her son Robby and her sister Lois Hein. She is survived by her daughters Susan Woods of Sugar Camp, and Tammy (Wes) Levan of Sugar Camp; sons Leon (Vicki) Holewinski of Rhinelander, Scott Holewinski of Sugar Camp, Michael (Vicki) Holewinski of Sugar Camp, Patrick (Chris) Holewinski of Sugar Camp, Gary (Anita) Holewinski of Grantsville, Utah, and John (Mary) Holewinski of Sugar Camp; brother Hal Boettcher of Tomahawk; 20 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday Nov. 3, 2018 at noon at the Sugar Camp Town Hall. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
