Charles R. Hagen
Charles R. Hagen, age 78 of the Town of Crescent, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019 at his home. His battle with cancer proved to be too much for his heart.
Charles was born in Rhinelander on Thursday, Oct. 23, 1941 to Vern J. and Catherine R. (Alexander) Hagen.
He grew up in Rhinelander and was a well driller by trade. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Charles took great pride in his flower gardens. He will be remembered for his love of family.
He will be dearly missed by his sisters and brother, Mary (Robert) Ohlsson of Boulder Junction, Jean Sneller of Rhinelander, Thomas Hagen of Rhinelander, Pat (Roger) Kuczmarski of Rhinelander, Ruth (Mike) Oettinger of Eagle River and Catherine Hagen of Rhinelander. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Peter Hagen, and by one sister, Teresa Hagen.
The visitation for Charles will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church located at 125 E. King Street, Rhinelander from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. Memorial Mass.
Inurnment will take place in the spring at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Cemetery.
