Nettie grew up on her parents' dairy farm just east of Crandon. She attended the Wolf River School and later Crandon High School. She married Richard Skochil of Monico on Jan. 24, 1948 in Crandon. They resided in Rhinelander. Over the years, Nettie was a waitress at The Sportsman Café, sales person at Leo's Sport Shop and DeByle's and chairside assistant for Dr. Paul Lidral. She retired in 1992.
She will be missed by her family and friends. We are grateful for the stupendous support and care from Ministry Home Care Hospice and the amazing staff at Friendly Village.
Due to the pandemic there will be no services at this time for Nettie. Look for a memorial service later next spring when Covid is no longer a threat for gatherings.
