Robert "Bob" Allen Bart

Robert (Bob) Allen Bart, age 85, passed away on June 19, 2022 at the Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau. He was born on April 2, 1937, in Milwaukee, the son of Harry and Irene (Szerbat) Bart.

Bob graduated from Boys Tech in Milwaukee in 1956. After his apprenticeship at Valuch Brothers in Cudahy he moved his family to the Northwoods in 1967. Here he enjoyed years of work at Frasier's Plumbing & Heating, Devereaux Plumbing and Heating and finally Dick Metz Plumbing before retiring.

Bob married the former Joan Knott in 1958 and the Lord blessed them with 64 years of marriage. They enjoyed living in the home that Bob help build on Birchrock Lake in Rhinelander for over 52 years.

Bob loved hunting, fishing, tending to his garden, and raising chickens, sharing dozens of eggs with neighbors and friends.

Bob is survived by his wife Joan Bart (nee Knott), his children Brian (Bonnie) Bart, David (Laura) Bart, Joseph Bart, Barbara (Joseph) Devereaux, Steven (Candy) Bart and John (Sue) Bart, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother James Bart. Special thanks to Tina Bishop for all of her loving care to Bob.

Visitation for Bob will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 from 1 to 2 p.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 2 p.m., at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church. Father Chris Kemp will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Northland Memorial Park Cemetery.
