Lorraine Joyce Pospychala
Lorraine J. Pospychala, age 93, passed away on Monday, Oct. 3, 2022, at her home in Rhinelander. She joined her husband, son, daughter, and grandson, as she left this world and went to her heavenly father. Lorraine was born to Charles and Daisy (Wolcott) Deyo in Cornell, Wis., on Jan. 6, 1929. She graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1946.
Lorraine married John Pospychala on Feb. 9, 1948. She became a homemaker loving to cook and knit. She loved the outdoors, and she loved to garden and was known for her green thumb. Lorraine enjoyed volunteering at the St. Joseph Thrift Shop.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael (Helen) and Paul (Ardetta) Pospychala both, of Rhinelander; her grandchildren, Anita (Mark) Theiler, Angie (Ron) Platek, Kristi (Shane) Leighton, Jessica, Ben, Alex, Jacob, and Paul Jr. Pospychala, eight great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, brother, Neil (Leatrice) Deyo, and sister, Mavis Knock.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, John, her parents, infant son, William, daughter, Connie (Keith) Krause, grandson, Kevin Krause, and her sister, Betty Pettis.
The visitation and service for Lorraine will be private.
