Diane Lynn Graetz
Diane Lynn Graetz, 71, of Rhinelander, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at home with her partner at her side.
Diane was born in Marinette on January 26, 1951, to Reuben R. and Mabel C. (Wilzewske) Graetz. She was raised in Pound, Wis. Diane graduated from Coleman High School in 1969 and was the class valedictorian. She then attended Madison Area Technical College. Diane moved to Rhinelander in 1970 working at St. Mary's Hospital as an applications analyst, retiring in 2014.
Diane enjoyed participating on pool leagues. She also enjoyed gardening, spending time outdoors, camping and dogs.
She will be dearly missed by her significant other of 40 years, Lana Arnett; brother Don (Sue) Graetz of Gainesville, Fla., two nephews, Randy (Laura) Graetz, and Allan (Ashley) Graetz, two great-nephews and two great-nieces, Lana's daughter, Tina Arnett and Tina's son, Todd Arnett, Lana's siblings, Debra (Jim) Drivas of Eau Claire, Blain (Deborah) Pasanen of Rhinelander, Rob Riopel of Rhinelander, and her four-legged companion, Bearsie.
Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Mabel Graetz, infant brother, Dennis Graetz, Lana's parents, Dona and Gerald Pasanen, and Lana's sister, Cheryl Riopel.
At Diane's request, cremation has taken place.
