He loved everything about the outdoors which included golfing, fishing, skiing and grouse hunting and he was a longtime member of the Ruffed Grouse Society. He pitched fast-pitch softball for many years and he enjoyed playing pool with family and friends. Bill had a passion for music of any kind, especially good guitar players and the big band music of the '40s. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved his Honda Goldwing.
