Alvin Charles Sowinski, age 86, of Sugar Camp, died on October 13, 2022, at his home. surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 4, 1936 in Sugar Camp, the son of Henry and Evelyn (LaPorte) Sowinski. Survivors include his wife Shirley (Bennett). Visitation for Alvin will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with a Rosary service at 5:30, at the Carlson Funeral Home in Rhinelander. Visitation will also be from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, October 24, 2022 at the St. Kunegunda Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the St. Kunegunda Catholic Church.
