Leroy "Roy" Javenkowski, age 80, of Three Lakes, died on Nov. 18, 2022, in Eagle River.
He was born on Oct. 19, 1942, in Three Lakes, the son of Joseph and Sophia (Kulinski) Javenkowski.
Roy was raised in Three Lakes and graduated from Three Lakes High School. He worked for many years as a mechanic for Birginal Motors until opening his own shop. He owned and operated Certified Auto Repair in Rhinelander until his retirement.
Roy is survived by his son Jeffrey (Lisa) Javenkowski, his grandchildren Jake, Paul and Steven, his sister Virginia Schaeffer, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Dave, Carl, Clarence and Joseph and his sister Leona.
Visitation for Roy is tentatively set for Monday, Nov. 28, 2022 from 11 a.m. until noon, with funeral services following at noon, at the Carlson Funeral Home in Rhinelander.
Interment will be in the Three Lakes Cemetery.
