Robert Joseph Marine, of Elcho, died on Dec. 29, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. He was born on Aug. 5, 1936, in Elcho, a son of Ella Murphy. He married Sharon Eisenman in 1962, she preceded him in death in 2018.
Robert served in the United States Air Force. He worked in the woods as a sawyer for many years. He also operated Marine's Bait Shop at Post Lake for over 50 years. He was appointed constable in Elcho. Robert enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include a sister, Carol Marine of Florida; many cousins, and other family members.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Marine, Jr. and a brother, Jack.
A graveside service will be held at Elcho Cemetery in the spring.
