Gary Wayne Martin, 72, of Rhinelander, passed away at his home on Friday morning, Jan. 27, 2023 with his wife Debra by his side.

After serving in the military, Gary moved to Rhinelander in 1973 and began his career working at Twist Drill for the next 29 years. He retired in 2002.

Gary met his future wife, Debra Winchell, in 1980. The couple dated for a while and were united in marriage on May 5, 1984, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Debra, son James A. At Gary's request, there will be no visitation or services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hildebrand Funeral Home & Cremation Specialists, 24 E. Davenport Street, Rhinelander, Wisconsin, 54501, 715-365-4343. Everyone is invited to sign the guestbook, or leave an online condolence at
