Judith "Judy" Ann Rausch went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023. At Thedacare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. Judy was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She was born to Lambert and Betty (Londo) Saal on Jan. 17, 1952 in Rhinelander. Judy met the love of her life Patrick H. Rausch Sr. in June of 1974. They were later married on September 26, 1974 in Wausau. They have been married for 48 years.
Judy accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior on Mother's Day, May 11, 1980. Judy is a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Waupaca. Judy was dedicated to teaching children about the gospel of Jesus Christ in Sunday School, Awana program, and Five Day Clubs. She more recently took over sending cards to the Senior saints at First Baptist. Her kind words have touched many lives.
Judy did various jobs throughout her life. She babysat, she worked at a halfway house, she worked at a factory in Manitowoc. Judy was a pastor's wife. She also worked with adults with developmental disabilities. She was a job coach, supervisor, and did respite care for adults with disabilities. In retirement she devoted her life to taking care of her disabled husband. She loved to take care of her 16 grandchildren. She loved to bake, cook, play Yahtzee, play cribbage, and there was always something that needed to be cleaned.
Judy is survived by her husband Patrick Rausch Sr.; daughter Nicole (Karl) Novak; two sons Patrick (Angie) Rausch Jr. and Jeffrey (Amy) Rausch; 16 grandchildren Micah, Hannah, Isaac, and Grace Novak; Austin and Lexi Rausch, Christopher (Alexis) Rausch, Zeke Rausch Bryce (Erica) Rausch, Emily (Fiancé Tanner Peters) Rausch, Lillyanna, Avalayah, Amiyah, Minton, Finnley, and Ellamae Rausch; three great grandchildren Luke and Joseph Rausch and Bella Matenaer; eight brothers Bill (Diane) Saal, Glen (Sandy) Saal, Larry Saal, Robert (Irene) Saal, Dale (Dawn) Saal, Rick (Patty) Saal, Dan Saal and Ed (Lynda) Saal and many nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Lambert and Betty Saal and two sisters Carol Saal and Norine Johns.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Waupaca with Reverend Larry Gross officiating. Burial will be in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Park in King, WI. Friends may call on Tuesday, Feb 14 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Judy's name can be sent to First Baptist Church in Waupaca or their organization Silver Days.
Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca assisted the family with arrangements.
