Kathryn Marie Heise
Kathryn Marie Heise, of Rhinelander, age 67, passed away peacefully on Feb. 4, 2023, after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer's. She was born on Aug. 30, 1955, in Rhinelander, to Donald and Joann (Goddard) Heise.
Kathy attended Rhinelander High School and graduated in 1973. She then went to work for the Forestry Sciences Laboratory Research Station in Rhinelander. She dedicated the next 40 years to the Forestry Department. She retired as an administrative assistant.
She enjoyed crocheting, home remodeling, and gardening. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. She will be greatly missed by all that loved and knew her.
Kathy is survived by her daughter, Jenna (Dan) Bauer, four grandchildren, Blake, Eli, Isaac and Avery, mother Joann Heise, sisters Linda (Tom) Michaels, Keryl Ketter, Donna (Mike) King, Mary (Freeman) Bennett, Karen (Kevin) Young, brothers Douglas (Pam) Heise, Steven (Julie) Heise, Robert (Ann) Heise, Philip Heise, Tim Heise as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Donald Heise, sister Nancy Heise-Grys, and a granddaughter Cara Bauer.
The family would like to thank Copperleaf Assisted Living of Schofield and Aspirus Hospice for the love and support they provided.
Visitation is set for Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023 from 9 to 11 a.m., with memorial services following at 11 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in the Northland Memorial Park Cemetery. You may leave your private condolences for the Heise family at http://www.carlsonfh.
