Diane Shaltis (Bishop), age 63, passed away on March 7, 2023 at her home in Pine Lake. She was born Sept. 5, 1959, in Rhinelander, to Duane and Beverly (Cleland) Bishop.
She graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1977 and worked for many years at Triumph Twist Drill and Prange Way, and most recently had been bartending at Pine Harbor and Spencer's Den in Pine Lake. She enjoyed staying home, gardening, raising chickens, and watching Westerns.
She is survived by her partner, Don Bisbing of Rhinelander; sons, Michael (Cody Gracyalny) Bishop of Combined Locks and Matthew (Desiree) Shaltis of Rhinelander; sister Dana (Jim) Draeger of Tomahawk; nephew Zachary Jordan and niece Cheyenne Goff; Don's sister Dee Bisbing of Tomahawk; and a large extended family in the Rhinelander area.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service for Diane will be held at the Carlson Funeral Home on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at noon with Chaplain John Uhlarik officiating. The visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until the time of service. You may leave your private condolences for the Shaltis family at www.carlsonfh.com.
