Jeffery Alan Larson of Rhinelander passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Ascension Holy Family Hospital in Des Plaines, Illinois.
He was born on July 1, 1957 in Waukegan, Illinois, to Robert and Eleanor Larson. On Sept. 21, 1985 Jeff married Wendy (nee Wilkins) and resided in North Chicago, Illinois until moving to Rhinelander in 2000. Jeff spent the next 23 years realizing his dream of running Larson's North Haven Resort. Also, during that time he enjoyed working at Walmart. However, Jeff's real passion was for hosting fishing derbies and creating fish stories with long-time Rock Stars.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Wendy; incredible daughters, Amanda (Robert) Brock, Abigail (Eric) Bradley; remarkable grandchildren, Kevin (Maureen), Makenzie (Quin), Simon, Jackson, Eli, and Cal; and amazing great-grandchildren Jameson and Leia; brother-in-law/sister-in-law Bob and Linda Wilkins; brothers Gerry (Kay) Larson and Rick Larson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Joann Larson.
The family is hosting an open house to celebrate Jeff on Saturday, March 18 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Shepard's Crook Golf Course in Zion, Illinois.
