Victoria "Tori" Stevens
Victoria "Tori" Stevens, age 11, of Tomahawk, passed away on Nov. 25, 2012, at Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk. Tori was born Nov. 29, 2000, in Rhinelander, to Glenda Edwards and Tom Stevens. She was a sixth grader at the Tomahawk Middle School.
Tori loved using Facebook and playing on the computer. She was a huge Justin Bieber fan and loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles, especially the annual Fall Ride in Tomahawk. She enjoyed "teasing" with people and had a great sense of humor. She loved singing, going on walks, fishing with her dad and brothers, and going to MDA Camp in Green Lake. Tori especially cherished the time she was able to spend with her family. In her short time with all of us, she touched so many people with her inner strength and strong spirit.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Glenda Stevens and Jim Coey of Tomahawk; her father, Tom (Brandi) Stevens of Duncan, Okla.; her grandparents, Robert and Marian Coey of Tomahawk; her brothers, David Lee of Merrill, Taylor Stevens of Mosinee, Wesley and Ryan Stevens of Oklahoma, Ian Coey, Jesse (April) Coey and Kobe Coey all of Tomahawk; her sisters, Amber (Cody Espetia) Coey of Tomahawk, Makayla Stevens of Mosinee and Lily and Ava Stevens of Oklahoma. Tori is further survived by her auntie, Carmen (Randy) Carstensen of Tomahawk; uncles, Rick Edwards of La Pointe, Harvey Edwards of California, and Kelly (Tracy) Coey of Tomahawk. She is also survived by her niece, Abbie Lee; and her godparents, Bobbi Jo Fischer and Jesse Everson of Rhinelander.
Tori was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Barry and Victoria Edwards; her aunt, Diane Ottman; and her uncle, Richard Quade.
Funeral services for Victoria "Tori" Stevens will be held on the same day she came into this world, on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Tomahawk United Methodist Church. Rev. Allen Christensen will officiate with interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk. Tori's family will have visitation for her on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Generations Funeral Home, 1400 N. 4th Street, Tomahawk, from 4 to 8 p.m. Visitation continues on Thursday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Generations Funeral Home & Cremation Services, of Tomahawk, is in charge of arrangements.
