Lois Dall, age 82, died on Nov. 23, 2012, in Rhinelander. Born on Jan. 30, 1930, to Elmer and Hazel (Towne) Gritzmacher in Rhinelander, Lois attended school in Rhinelander and Milwaukee. She met Robert Dall in Milwaukee where they married on Oct. 29, 1949, then returned to Rhinelander to raise their family.
Lois and Bob moved to Appleton in 1979, returning to Rhinelander in 1990. Lois' activities included one common theme, serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was involved in Christian missions, the ladies guild and aid, Bible studies and Christian education. Other interests included nature study, composing poetry, painting and crafting.
Lois is survived by two sons, Robert (Janet) Dall and David (Jules) Dall of Rhinelander; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wanda Harris of Rhinelander and Sandy Coleman of Sugar Camp.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, on March 8, 1998; her parents; and two brothers, Willis and Butch Gritzmacher.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at 1 p.m. with visitation from 11 a.m., up until the time of services at Zion Lutheran Church, 160 N. Brown St., Rhinelander. Reverand Matthew Schoell is officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Home Cemetery, with a luncheon at the church to follow. A memorial is being established in Lois' name and can be directed to her family. Carlson Funeral Home, (715) 369-1414 / www.carsonfh.com, is handling arrangements.

I happened to stumble upon this for whatever reason and I must say that I am saddened. I will always remember the Mickey Mouse bags. Thank you so very much Lois for the enjoyable weekends. Your makeup was always wonderful!
