Jay W. "Hooch" "Dubbie" Anderle

Jay W. "Hooch" "Dubbie" Anderle, age 27, of Clarksville, Tenn., formerly of Rhinelander, died Feb. 11, 2017 in Tennessee. He was born Oct. 19, 1989 in Wisconsin Rapids, to Jay and Jodie (Roberts) Anderle. Jay graduated from Rhinelander High School in 2008.

During his junior year in high school he committed to serve in the U.S. Army following his graduation. He honored that commitment and began serving as an aircraft mechanic for the U.S. Army in 2008.

Jay was first stationed in Korea and served as an Apache mechanic. He then was transferred to Fort Huachuca Army Installation near Sierra Vista, Ariz., then Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas and finally Fort Campbell in Kentucky/Tennessee. He served as an UAV maintainer at each of these last stations. Jay was a member of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. Jay had multiple deployments during his military career and he always accepted his mission first.

Jay did have another life outside the Army but it usually still involved engines. He loved motorcycling and working on his Harley. He was a member of the Iron Order motorcycle club that included many of his friends. He also enjoyed his truck and working on his truck. He had a genuine love for his family, friends and his dogs and his fun, loving and caring spirit will be missed by all of them.

Jay is survived by his parents, Jay and Jodie Anderle of Rhinelander; his sister Abbie (Brian) Cline of Rhinelander; his half-sister Trisha (Brian) Svoboda and half-brother Travis (Jamie) Anderle, both of Wisconsin Rapids; his nieces and nephews, Madelyn, Noah, Jared, Kellen, Connor, Brooks and Brady, other family and many friends.

Visitation for Jay will be held on Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 at the Carlson Funeral Home from noon until 3 p.m. Funeral services for Jay will be held on Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 at 3 p.m. at the Carlson Funeral Home with Reverend Martha Hampton officiating.
