Larry R. Larson

Larry R. Larson, age 68, passed away at home on Feb. 24, 2017. Larry was born to Ward and Ruth Larson in Rhinelander. Larry enlisted in the United States Army in January of 1966 and was honorably discharged in December of 1968 after serving in Germany.

I was sorry to hear of Larry,s passing. I remember first meeting Larry when he was a young boy about 6 years old and I was 13. My father took me over to see Ruthie and Pudgy. Dad and I were staying at Fae and Ray Duttons home off Highway K, while deer hunting. This was back around 1953-55. We all had good times as kids back then. When I taught High School in Rhinelander for 25 years, I would always enjoy seeing the Larson boys. Rest In Peace Larry. Elmer Legrey, Atlantis, Florida
