Anthony "Tony" Erwin Darling
Anthony "Tony" Erwin Darling, age 70, of Abbotsford, passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018 at Marshfield Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 12, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Friends and family are welcome from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Tony was born Sept. 3, 1948, the son of Erwin and Josephine (Giuliani) Darling, in Milwaukee. He was a 1963 graduate of St. Mary's Catholic School in Rhinelander and a 1967 graduate of Rhinelander High School.
He served in the Vietnam war in Vietnam, Laos and Thailand from 1967-1970.
He attended Nicolet College. He worked at Channel 12, a cable company in Rhinelander as a lineman, a long haul semi-truck driver and was an avid ham radio operator which he enjoyed the most. Tony had a special place in his heart for his pets, and his faithful dog, "Sheba".
Tony is survived by his significant other, Janice Brandner, and two sisters: Penelope Fortier of Rhinelander, and Elizabeth (John) Meyer of Green Bay, and several nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

I remember tony very well seen him at ur parents tavern on s 17 erv an pat erv worked at marplex pat tended bar tony work on televisions
he was a great guy I often thought of him where did he go sad to hear of his passing
