Judy Ellen Waydick
Judy Ellen Waydick, age 67 of Rhinelander, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 6, 1951, in Rhinelander to Robert and Violet (Miller) Wiedeman.
Judy graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1969. She raised her two daughters in Rothschild until 1986 when she married the love of her life, Thomas Waydick and they resided with their combined family in Rhinelander. Judy was a longtime employee of St. Mary's Hospital as a patient account manager. She retired in 2013 after 28 plus years of service.
Amongst her interests, Judy enjoyed traveling, camping, crafting, and an occasional trip to the casino. Most of all, she loved time spent with her family and friends, especially time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her husband, Thomas L. Waydick of Rhinelander; her children, Marci (Joseph) Fortier of Rhinelander, Stacey (Ryan Taylor) Meendering of Rhinelander, Thomas E. (Jodi) Waydick of Rhinelander, Eric (Jessie Singer) Waydick of St. Francis, and Christine (Scott) Finnelle of Brunswick, Md.; grandchildren, Christopher (Danielle) Kuhn, Tyler Kuhn, Makenzie Meendering, Laney Waydick, Jackson Waydick, Brom Waydick, Samantha Gray, and Madison Gray; and great-grandchildren, Teagon Gerrits, Declan Kuhn, and Eden Kuhn. She is further survived by her siblings, Jean Kruncos of Wausau, Robert (Faith) Wiedeman of Manhattan, Mt., Ronald (June) Wiedeman of Rhinelander, George (Marty Nehls) Wiedeman of Wausau, Kenneth (Carla) Wiedeman of Belgrade, Mt., and Cheryl (Joel) Sandberg of Rhinelander as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and good friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dolores and Terry; and a brother, Tommy.
A memorial service for Judy will take place at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414 / www.carlsonfh.com) with Chaplain John Uhlarik officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Following the service at the funeral home, all are invited to a celebration of Judy's life at the Newbold Town Hall.
Judy requested support of a memorial in her name in lieu of other expressions of sympathy and contributions may be directed in care of her family.

I'm so sorry to hear about Judy. She was a very nice person to know and she always said hi to me at the clinic or when I would go past your house and wave. She will be missed. I pray God will be with you and your family during this very stressful and sad time.
