Joyce M. Huhnstock

Joyce M. Huhnstock, 83 of Rhinelander, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019, at Rennes Health & Rehab. Joyce was born in Marathon Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1936, the daughter of Norbert and Marcella (Lepak) Dreikosen. She was a 1954 graduate of Marathon High School. Joyce was united in marriage to Edward Huhnstock and they later were divorced. Joyce moved to Rhinelander in 1999. She had been employed at Pine Manor Nursing Home for 10 years, worked from her home in Clintonville, as an Upholsterer and had operated the Wishing Well Bar. Joyce was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, but most of all, Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her children: Daniel (Jody) Huhnstock, Diane Huhnstock of New London, and Deborah Huhnstock (Michael Vargovich) of Saxon, daughter-in-law; Michelle Huhnstock of Rhinelander, eight grandchildren: Sarah, Miranda, Jeremy, Cody, Kyle, Cassandra, Nikita and Ethan and by one great-granddaughter; Olivia. Also surviving are one brother; Wallace Dreikosen of Illinois, five sisters; Georgine Mangold of Cedarburg, LaVonne (Martin) Wieloch of Mosinee, Sister Marcella Marie Dreikosen of LaCrosse, Rita Thompson of Arizona, Valeria (Charles) Miller of Canton, Mich. and three sisters-in-law; Marge Dreikosen of Grafton, Isabelle Dreikosen of Marshfield and Jenny Dreikosen of North Carolina. Joyce is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, David Huhnstock and by four brothers and four sisters.

The visitation for Joyce will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Hildebrand Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Memorial Service. The officiant will be Fr. Mike Tupa.
