When Sam was home you could find him riding his Harley, listening to old time country music, watching country western movies or enjoying dessert, any kind of dessert! He also enjoyed listening to Irish music, especially the Clancy Brothers, but most of all Sam enjoyed getting together with family.

Sam is further survived by aunts, an uncle, cousins and other nieces, nephews and relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Hoffhein and an infant brother, Joseph C. Hoffhein.
