Joseph "Joe" Allen McMullen

Joseph "Joe" Allen McMullen, age 72, passed away on Dec. 1, 2020 due to COVID complications. He passed peacefully. Joe was a jolly soul with a kick of energy that left memories. Joe donated his time at Nativity Thrift Store. He loved to go fishing and enjoyed time spent with friends. He enjoyed going out to eat and was pleased with the life he lived.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth McMullen.

He is survived by his siblings John E. McMullen (Ann), Joanne Duller (Ken) and Joyce Owens (Steve), as well as nieces and a nephew.

Because of cautions due to COVID, we will not be holding a ceremony, but prayers and healing thoughts are deeply appreciated.

I was truly surprised to see that Joe passed away. He was such a giving person. Whenever he came into where I worked we were all treated equally special and I will miss his visits.
It's tough to believe I won't get to hear him call me "boss" anymore. It was a little joke that always made me laugh. Rest in peace, dear friend.

I am devastated to learn of Joe's passing. I met him several years ago at the thrift store. We became great friends an when I would come from Ill to the cabin he would always come out to fish & visit with us. He was so good to my granddaughter an he always made us laugh & told us such great stories of the Northwoods. I will miss him terribly. Sending Many prayers to his family at this difficult time. Rest easy my friend as you will be missed. Carol & Arianna
