Dale Jefcik

Dale Jefcik, son of Edwin and Vera (Schultz) Jefcik of Rhinelander, passed away on July 4, 2021. He graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1971, enlisting in the U.S. Navy shortly thereafter. Upon completing his service he returned to Rhinelander and worked at the Rhinelander Fire Department from 1976 until his retirement as Assistant Chief in 2008. Dale loved nothing more than fishing and hunting with his friends, working on his cabin, and spending time with his grandchildren. Throughout his life he was an active member of the Nativity of Our Lord Parish. He participated in many events with the VFW, and acted as a member of the local Honor Guard.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Vera (Schultz) Jefcik of Rhinelander. Dale is survived by his brother Ron (Mary) Jefcik, sister Nanette Jefcik Gritzmacher of Chippewa Falls, sons Kyle (Sorelle) Jefcik of Whitefish Bay, AJ (Allison) Jefcik of Three Lakes and three grandchildren Bryce, Olivia and Otto.

Visitation for Dale will be held on Thursday, July 15 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Carlson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at the Carlson Funeral Home. An honor detail will follow the memorial services to acknowledge his service as a firefighter, also at the Carlson Funeral Home. Dale was interred in the Northwoods National Cemetery on Wednesday, July 7. In lieu of flowers please donate to Disabled American Veterans nationally at dav.org, or the local chapter 62. You may leave your private condolences for the Jefcik family at www.carlsonfh.com. The Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414) is serving the Jefcik family.

On many calls Dale’s presents lightened ones spirit. May you find rest in God’s faithfulness, find strength in His promises and be comforted by His love. Be with God Dale.
