Patrick Schaller, age 70, died on May 5, 2022, in Rhinelander. He was born on March 16, 1952, in Chicago. Survivors include his many friends and caregivers.
Patrick was faced with very challenging disabilities since his birth. Despite those hurdles he was his own person and found pleasure in interacting with his caregivers and roommates. Although his condition did not allow Patrick to participate in many activities, he got a lot of joy watching others do so. He had a wonderful, teasing type of humor known to those who cared for him. He enjoyed his home at Jamie Court because he was cared for with much love and devotion, and he was able to continue to live with his lifelong friend Barry, until he preceded him in death.
Patrick loved things that are soft, warm and comfy. Now he is really warm and comfy in the arms of God. He will be missed by his friends and caregivers.
There will be a memorial service for Patrick on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 1 p.m. at the Carlson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Forest Home Cemetery. You may leave private condolences for Patrick at www.carlsonfh.com.
The Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414) is handling the arrangements for Patrick.
