Gertrude "Trudy" Jenkins
Gertrude "Trudy" Jenkins, age 90, of Rhinelander, died on Jan. 23, 2023 at the Friendly Village Nursing Home in Rhinelander. She was born on April 18, 1932, in Whitewater, the daughter of Oscar and Marie (Eiting) Wegner.
Trudy is survived by her daughters Ruth Spray, Karen (Phil) Metz, Patrice (Gary Fleischman) Parker and June (James) Moyer, her son John (Kelli) Jenkins, her 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, her brothers Don Wegner and Andy (Mary) Wegner, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred "Red" Jenkins, on Aug. 16, 2022, her parents, her son Michael Jenkins, sister Vita Lanser and her brothers Richard, Phil and Tom.
