FBLA/DECA students participate in Fall Fest
Rhinelander High School students once again assisted in hosting Fall Fest at Hanson's Garden Village.
This year more than 1100 people enjoyed Fall Fest, according to a school district press release.
The activities included tractor rides, face painting, smaller games for young children, pumpkin bowling, apple slingshot, a petting zoo, a hay bale maze, and a corn maze.
The games were put on with the help of Rhinelander's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)/DECA chapter.
This was FBLA/DECA's fifth year helping with Hanson's host Fall Fest which was held Oct. 19.
"It was really interesting to interact with all the different kids in the community that we normally don't get to see," said member Kaylee Brown.
The chapter brought 16 members to help with the event this year, all of whom were excited to participate in this community service event.
Ashleigh Hull, the Vice President of Public Relations, said FBLA/DECA has a lot more service events planned for the school year, but helping with Fall Fest is sure to be one of her favorites.
