to McTeacher Night April 18
Crescent Elementary School will host a McTeacher Night Tuesday, April 18 at the Rhinelander downtown McDonald's restaurant. From 4-7 p.m., 20 percent of all sales will go to Crescent and the money fundraiser earnings will go towards the school's PBIS budget, according to a school district press release.
PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, which is a framework aimed at increasing positive behaviors that contribute to the social, emotional, and academic success of students, the release states. Crescent Elementary School has used PBIS funds raised from McTeacher Night in past years to purchase brand new bikes and helmets for two students. For the past two years, one boy and one girl who have done an excellent job following the 4 Be's (Be Here, Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful) all year have been awarded with the prize at Crescent's final assembly, the release states. Crescent staff hopes to be able to continue this tradition by raising enough money from McTeacher Night so that two additional students can be awarded for their positive behavior at Crescent Elementary School.
The Rhinelander downtown McDonald's is located at 25 S. Stevens St. For more information about the fundraiser, please call Crescent School at 715-365-9120.
