Milwaukee man facing federal drug and gun crimes following arrest in Oneida County
A federal grand jury in the Western District of Wisconsin in Madison has indicted a Milwaukee man apprehended by the Oneida County Sheriff's Department.

According to the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, Dewayne Veasy, 30, has been charged with possessing cocaine with intent to distribute and with possessing a mixture of heroin and fentanyl with intent to distribute, following grand jury action. (subscriber access)

Judge grants bond modification in fatal OWI case
An Oneida County judge will allow a Stevens Point man charged in connection with a fatal drunk driving accident in Minocqua last July to drive to and from work.
