New ATV trail opens in Enterprise

The Oneida County Forestry Department has announced the opening of seven miles of new ATV/UTV Trail in the Town of Enterprise, which will be maintained by the Pel-Cho Mudd Nutz ATV/UTV Club.

The new trail connects the Bowman parking lot and the Zimmer Road parking lot near Highway G and further connects to the existing Enterprise Trail currently maintained by the Hodag 4-Wheelers Club, department officials said in a press release.

There is currently a mile of ATV trail under construction and Bowman Road should be used as a temporary ATV route until construction of the remaining ATV trail is complete. Trail conditions may be wet and soft in spots, so use caution. Always stay on clearly marked trails and remember to respect the trails and obey all signs, regulations and ride responsibly.

New maps are available at ATV trail heads, the Oneida County Forestry office, Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce and online at www.co.oneida.wi.us.
