A 67-year-old Tomahawk man was killed Monday evening when he lost control of the ATV he was operating on Wadell Road in the township of Bradley, causing the vehicle to overturn.
According to a Lincoln County sheriff's office press release, the accident was reported at approximately 7:23 p.m. Monday.
According to the release, the ATV rolled multiple times, ejecting the operator. The operator, later identified as Anton L. Beiler, was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk where he was pronounced dead. Speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash, the sheriff's office notes, however the accident remains under investigation.
