The Rhinelander Fire Department was dispatched to the Rhinelander VA Clinic just before 9:30 a.m. Tuesday for what appeared to be spilled or leaked diesel fuel. A firefighter on the scene said that the source of the spill was unknown, but firefighters were sent to put absorbent material on it. The majority of the spilled fuel was near the entrance, but was being spread by people driving through it on the wet pavement. Since less than five gallons were spilled, the DNR did not need to respond.
