The $14 million expansion of the Aspirus Rhinelander Clinic got underway Friday with a groundbreaking ceremony. When completed, the addition will almost double the size of the present clinic and add 20 more employees, including seven new physicians and advance practice clinicians. The project will also include renovations to the present facilities to expand primary care services while the addition will allow for more specialty care services. The project is scheduled to be finished next fall. Taking part in the groundbreaking ceremony were, from left, Todd Dirkman, Robb Fabich, Barbara Burnette, John Monks, Matt Heywood, Jenny Redman-Schell, Rep. Rob Swearingen, Mayor Chris Frederickson and Dave Heck. A full story about the ceremony will appear in Tuesday's edition.
