Rhinelander city clerk Val Foley, left, and election worker Mary Moxon work to clear an issue with the optical ballot reader at the Oneida County Aging and Disability Resource Center polling station Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020. The machine is used to count paper ballots in a running tally in its memory. Once Foley and Moxon arrived, the problem was quickly resolved. Meanwhile, voters had to use an electronic voting machine as a stopgap measure.
