6/23/2020 7:27:00 AM Mayor invites public to listening session at City Hall
As a continuation of the City Council work sessions held last Tuesday and Wednesday, and to guide the future of Rhinelander, Mayor Chris Frederickson is inviting residents to a listening session to be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2020 in the City Council Chambers.
Previous work sessions sought input from city staff as to objectives and priorities of city departments, according to a press release announcing the public listening session.
"Input from the public is critical to charting the city's course and addressing our challenges," said Mayor Frederickson. "It is my hope strong participation will provide for more informed decision making."
The public is encouraged to bring their thoughts, ideas, and feedback. To protect the public, physical distancing standards will be practiced, the release notes.
The work sessions held on June 16 and 17 lasted approximately three hours per session and featured dialogue between council members and city department heads.
Those sessions are available to the public at www.hodagtv.com.
