Oneida zoning committee moves to rein in town boards, plan commissions

In April 2016 Rhinelander voters authorized a .5 percent tax on tourism-related goods and services. The goal of the PRAT (premiere resort area tax) was to generate revenue to be used to fund local road repair projects. At the time, the PRAT was predicted to generate about $400,000 per year.
