Authorities in Lincoln County are continuing to search for a missing Tomahawk man. According to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, an extensive ground search was conducted over the weekend for Robert Cartwright. Sheriff Jeff Jaeger, various deputies, volunteer K9 officers, DNR Rangers and Foresters along with volunteer firefighters from Corning, Russell, Pine River and Tomahawk searched throughout the weekend for Cartwright who was reported missing last Tuesday. Searchers checked numerous properties in the area of Allery Road off of County Road E south of Tomahawk, the department said. Cartwright, 56, was reported missing last Tuesday but authorities believe he likely left his home on April 15. He did not take his vehicle or his wallet, according to a news release. Deputies will continue to follow up on any leads or sightings which are phoned into the Sheriff's Office.
