Journal Community Publishing Group, Inc., a subsidiary of Journal Communications, Inc. publisher of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, announced Monday the sale of its publications and websites in northern Wisconsin to Green Bay-based Multi-Media Channels, LLC, also known as Brown County Publishing. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Included in the sale are buyer's guide publications and corresponding websites serving Waupaca, Marathon County, Wood County, Stevens Point, Rhinelander, New London and Clintonville. The sale also includes The North Star Journal and Foto News as well as subscriber-paid publications Waupaca Co. Post East, Waupaca Co. Post West, and Silent Sports magazine.
