Two-car accident

Emergency personnel were called to a two-car accident at the intersection of U.S. Highway 8 and State Highway 45 outside of Monico at approximately 2:30 p.m. Friday. The accident snarled traffic for about 20 minutes as the scene was being cleaned up, but no serious injuries were reported. Oneida County paramedics, Monico Volunteer Fire Department, Oneida County sheriff's office and the Wisconsin State Patrol responded to the scene while Fire District Alpha provided traffic control.
