A 60-year-old Milwaukee man was killed Wednesday evening in an ATV crash in the township of Bradley in Lincoln County.
According to the Lincoln County sheriff's office, a call came in at approximately 8:21 p.m. reporting an ATV crash on Park Lane.
"Per the investigation, a 60-year-old male operator was traveling northbound on Park Lane, north of Thomas Road, when the ATV failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway," the release states. "The ATV rolled multiple times causing the operator to be ejected from the ATV."
The man, later identified as Jeffrey G. Wineland, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the sheriff's office, speed and alcohol appear to have been factors in the crash which remains under investigation.
