Council takes no action Monday in response to City Hall investigation

Guild a 'person of interest' in felony investigation
Officers from three law enforcement agencies executed search warrants Thursday at Rhinelander City Hall as part of an ongoing investigation involving alleged misconduct in public office and tampering with public records. According to Oneida County chief deputy Dan Hess, officers from Oneida, Vilas and Marathon counties executed two warrants beginning at 9:25 a.m.

The search ended at approximately 3:25 p.m., Hess said.
