BREAKING: Council 'reluctantly' authorizes recruitment of new city administrator |
The City of Rhinelander is about to begin recruitment for a new city administrator.
Following a closed session discussion Monday evening, City Council president Eileen Daniel made a motion "to direct staff to secure proposals and begin recruitment for a replacement city administrator". The motion also directed that recruitment of a replacement city administrator be included as "standing item" on future meeting agendas.
Before reciting her motion, Daniel noted it was a proposition she did not want to make. Several of the council members also stressed that their "aye" votes were being made "reluctantly." Tuesday, August 9, 2022
