Hodag Run for Your Life

The YMCA of the Northwoods and the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce held the 13th annual Hodag Run for Your Life at Hodag Park Saturday.

According to official results, 174 runners took part in either the 10K, 5K or 5K stroller divisions of the race. In addition, scores of kids took part in the annual Chase the Hodag fun run following the main event.

The event raises money for the YMCA's Annual Support Campaign.

"If you know anything about the Y as a non-profit organization, our Annual Support Campaign allows us to make a difference in the lives of others and our friends and neighbors here in the Northwoods," YMCA of the Northwoods CEO Ryan Zietlow said during opening ceremonies for Saturday's race. "You're coming out to work on your own healthy living and, at the same time, you're giving back to provide support to our friends and neighbors right here in our communities."

Results are posted below. For more photos, see page 19 of today's River News.
