Swimmers representing several different decades of Rhinelander High School history were on hand Saturday, Dec. 28 as the Hodag swim team renewed the tradition of the RHS alumni swim meet at the Heck Family Community Pool.
"We haven't done this in a couple of years, at least since I've been coaching," RHS swim coach Jenny Heck said. "I was pleased with the number of people we had. We could use some more girls so I encouraged everyone to bring an another alumni friend for next year. It was a lot of fun. Swimming is such a great sport to be in, a lifetime sport, and we should all be doing it a little bit more. This is a fun way to encourage us to get our suits on and get back in the pool."
Swimmers competed in 25- and 50-yard races of each stroke and there was a medley relay at the end of the meet.
