Rhinelander High School boys' basketball coach Derek Lemmens hit the road Tuesday in an effort to scout his team's opponent for the regional semifinal round of the WIAA tournament. It turns out Lemmens and the Hodags already know plenty about Friday night's foe. (subscriber access)

Claire Hjelle scored the go-ahead goal in the 79th minute as the RHS girls' soccer team defeated Lakeland 2-1 in Minocqua to move to 6-0-0 in league play.

Baseball: DeMeyer injured in 5-2 loss to Antigo
The Rhinelander High School baseball team lost more than a baseball game Thursday on one pivotal play. Left fielder Jacob DeMeyer was injured trying to make a diving catch on a sinking line drive in the sixth as the Hodags fell 5-2 at Kretz Bros. Park in Antigo.

The Northern Edge figure skating co-op, which includes several skaters from Rhinelander High School, finished second overall in individual team points at the U.S. Figure Skating High School Finals earlier this month in Strongsville, Ohio.
