Rhinelander shuts down Mosinee 3-1 in postseason pitchers' duel
The Hodags took advantage of some shoddy Mosinee defense in the first inning, scoring three runs, and held on behind command pitching performances from Bryce Schickert and Josh Randolph to defeat the Indians 3-1 at City Park in Mosinee in a WIAA regional quarterfinal contest.

Top-seeded Mosinee made short work of the RHS softball team in the second round of the WIAA tournament. The Indians had big innings in every frame Tuesday to defeat the Hodags 15-0 in a game called in three innings due to the mercy rule.

A group of senior sprinters has helped lead the Hodags to new heights this season. They have already taken down the school's 4x100- and 4x200-meter relay records and helped Rhinelander claim its first track conference championship in 52 years.

Penalty kick gives Ashland another win, GNC title over Hodags
Abby Koehler converted a penalty kick for the Oredockers in the 46th minute, which proved to be the only goal in a 1-0 victory for Ashland over the Hodags in GNC final round play at the RHS soccer field.

The Hodags couldn't come up with a clutch hit in Game 1 and were upset 4-2 by Tomahawk in the first game of a doubleheader at Stafford Field, but rallied behind a gem from Josh Randolph in the nightcap to win 7-1, salvage a doubleheader split and finish an even 6-6 in league play.
